Recently released to the public from Dallas Pennsylvania’s Misericordia University is the latest issue featuring Earl & Sedor photography. Our imagery was used in 3 articles including an 11 page layout on the schools Summer Research Fellowship Program.
The images were captured over a several week period including on location in the towns of Kingston, Beaumont and Dallas Pennsylvania. The outdoor images were shot using plenty of supplemental lighting and reflectors to provide a very “well lit” outdoor scene uncommon on the local pro scene. According to business partner and Director of Photography JB Earl, “We handled the lighting in a very cinematic way to make the imagery blend well with the dramatically lit interior photographs”. The indoor images were all lit to reflect the technical nature of the labs and the science.
Along the way, we learned a lot about cancer research, DNA studies, luminometers, HPLC instruments, gas-chromatography and even the biology behind stream health.
